TempMD also provides malpractice insurance for all providers working on a TempMD assignment with industry standard coverage limits from an A rated carrier. All assignments start with a pre-screening of the provider and going forward, TempMD will ensure that state licenses are renewed and kept current and TempMD will assist as needed to expedite any hospital privileging that is necessary for an assignment. Our goal is to not only make the best match for the provider and the client, but to make the entire process transpire as smoothly as possible.
All TempMD provider candidates must satisfy our credentials verification standards to ensure that only that only highly-qualified providers are placed in assignments with our clients. These credentialing standards are modeled after the standards of the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). All providers that meet the standards are entered into our proprietary database and are available to our staffing professionals when they are looking to fulfill the needs of our clients.

TempMD understands the importance of the jobs our providers fill for our clients. Therefore, in the event one of our clients is not fully satisfied with one of TempMD’s providers, TempMD will agree to take that provider out of the assignment if requested to do so within the first 48 hours of the start of the assignment. In this case, the client will only be required to pay for reimbursable expenses. (See Client agreement for details.)
